1. Direction & Orientation - Best-facing flats: North, East, or North-East - Avoid: South-West facing flats (can affect stability & finances) - The main entrance should ideally be in the North, East, or North-East zone 2. Main Entrance (Very Important) - Door should open clockwise and inwards - Entrance must be well-lit and clutter-free - Avoid flats where: - Main door faces a lift, staircase, or another door directly - There’s a toilet or kitchen right next to the entrance 3. Kitchen Placement - Ideal: South-East (Agni corner) - Second option: North-West - Avoid kitchen in North-East or center of the flat - Stove should face East while cooking 4. Bedrooms - Master bedroom: South-West (best for stability) - Children/guest bedroom: West or North-West - Avoid bedrooms in North-East - Bed head should face South or East 5. Toilets & Bathroom - Best zones: North-West or West - Avoid toilets in: - North-East - Center (Brahmasthan) - Toilet seat should ideally face North or South 6. Windows, Light & Ventilation - More windows on North & East sides are excellent - Flat should get natural sunlight, especially in the morning - Avoid dark, poorly ventilated units 7.
